The morning drags on as we wait for surgery. Ben has been doing well. He decided to play hoops for a while. He has this slam dunk thing down pat. Not too bad for only having a left hand . . .
Nancy Hall told me yesterday what was happening with Ben. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Seattle Childrens' Hospital is an AMAZING pediatric facility and I know Ben will receive the best treatment there. I think Nancy may have sent you my cell number. If you or your wife need anything while you are in Seattle, feel free to call me.
I am Colleen Abrams and work with John on work teams, etc. I work for UAF and am now telecommuting from Seattle. If you and Ben would like company or would like to get away from the hospital setting for a while (when Ben can or if Ben can be left alone for a little while), I will be happy to transport you out to my home or wherever. If you would just like a visitor, please let me know and I can come in the evenings. My thoughts and prayers are with you. This type of thing is never easy and especially when you are away from the family. My phone number is 425 967-3831 or cell phone is 907 322-5456. Please feel free to call. Sincerely, Colleen
Cari Joy gave me this blog address. I was so shocked to find this all out. Our prayers are with you and your family. I'll be watching for updates, Ben is such a sweet kid!
Cari!!! What the? what happened while i was gone? Laurelyn filled me in and gave me this address. What a crazy turn of events!!! Just know we love you guys and are praying hard for your family. Keep us posted on everything, we are praying this won't take long for you and your family, seeing how long my sis in law Ronda had to be down there in seattle (4mon!). Also, L had mentioned you wanted to see the baby, here's my blog address: thelittledarlings.blogspot.com Take care and I love you!
